BIOGRAPHY

James Weintre

James Weintre has been an attorney since 1989.  During different phases of his career, he was a Deputy District Attorney and Deputy Public Defender where he handled and tried numerous murder cases including those involving the death penalty.   Mr. Weintre also practiced civil law focusing on police civil liability defense and as plaintiff counsel for insurance companies in complex-designated insurance fraud cases.  Much of his time is devoted to youth development and Tribal issues.  He received his B.A. in Behavioral Science from California State Polytechnic University Pomona California, and his J.D.  from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, California.
